Scalby railway station was a railway station on the Scarborough & Whitby Railway. It opened on 16 July 1885, and served the village of Scalby. It closed to regular traffic on 2 March 1953 - the station building being turned into a camping cottage. Occasional trains still stopped for users of this facility until final closure in 1964. Since closure, a road called Chichester Close has been built on the site.
